Before you email about a bug
If you can include these three things, we can usually fix it the same day:
- What you tried to do. One sentence is fine.
- What happened instead. Screenshot or screen recording is gold.
- Device + OS (e.g., "iPhone 15, iOS 18.2" or "Pixel 7, Android 14"). On iOS: Settings → General → About. On Android: Settings → About phone.
Common questions
Is my task data sent to a server?
No. Tasks live in a local database on your phone. The only thing that touches a server is the AI splitter / planner — it sends the text you type to Anthropic's Claude API for processing, then discards it. Full details on the Privacy page.
How do I delete my data?
In the app: Settings → Delete all my data. Wipes everything — tasks, projects, calibration history, the anonymous analytics ID — without uninstalling. Or uninstall the app and the local database goes with it.
Does the AI need internet?
Only when you use AI features (splitter, planner). The rest of the app works offline. Tasks you've already added, your daily list, the timer, completions — all of that runs locally.
Why can't I find a feature I expect?
Startiny is intentionally minimal. The first version focuses on three things: splitting big tasks into 10-30 min chunks, learning how long things actually take you, and a daily routine that doesn't shame you when you miss a day. If you want something else, email us and tell us why — the roadmap is community-driven during beta.
How do I unsubscribe from the waitlist?
Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email from us, or email support@rosentech.online and we'll remove you within 24 hours.
Can I use Startiny on the web?
Not yet. Currently iOS + Android only. If web is the difference between you using it or not, email us — we're tracking demand.
Beta status
Startiny is pre-launch. The beta is free, capped at the first 50 waitlist signups. After launch, the planned price is around $6.99/month. The waitlist email when you join confirms whichever offer you'd qualify for.
